The FieldComm Group has announced that it will participate in the 2015 ACHEMA Fair in Frankfurt (D) on June 15-19th. By creating a grand scale Technology Wall, the leading process field communication technologies organisation will demonstrate how it is ‘connecting the world of process automation’ through a full portfolio of solutions to connect and integrate valuable digital data available from intelligent field devices.
The multi-vendor display includes more than 30 leading suppliers and over 50 devices integrated into both new and legacy systems that provide valuable device and process information leading to improved plant performance. The interoperable display includes leading technologies such as; FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus, HART®, HART-IP™ and WirelessHART® and the new integration standard of Field Device Integration (FDI). Field communication experts will be on hand to discuss real-world applications that deliver value to the user.
The FieldComm Group’s participation at the ACHEMA 2015 international process industry trade show marks the inaugural appearance of the newly established organisation following the combining of the Fieldbus Foundation and HART Communication Foundation in January 2015. “As one of the leading Process Industry fairs in the world,” says Ted Masters, President & CEO of FieldComm Group, “ACHEMA is the prime venue to introduce this exciting new organisation to the process industry’s users, manufacturers and suppliers.”
Attendees are encouraged to come learn about the recent advancements in these field communication protocols. A live demonstration of FDI technology will explain how users benefit from the latest in device integration techniques. With the release of the FDI specification, developer tools and host components in March, 2015, FieldComm Group is the primary source for the tools to develop FDI based devices and host systems for FOUNDATION Fieldbus, HART and PROFIBUS.
The booth area also features individual company kiosks hosted by leading automation suppliers supporting the Group’s open and interoperable standard technologies and will showcase their latest products and integration offerings. Product specialists will be on-hand to answer questions and demonstrate how connecting and integrating device information delivers value to the enterprise.
