The ISA100 wireless architecture provides a flexible framework that is designed to accommodate multiple legacy applications. This tutorial session will describe ISA100’s object-oriented application model, and then show how it has been adapted to integrate seamlessly with HART devices.

Improving Wireless Throughout the Plant

The goal of this presentation is to explain how systems based on the ISA100 standard can be used for control.

The presentation is comprised of three sections about control over wireless using the ISA-100.11a standard from the ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute. Use cases, key technical requirements and a review of wireless network design considerations will be presented.
