#ISAutowk Technician Day details

The details of the Technician Day Program  at ISA Automation Week 2012: Technology and Solutions Event have been released. 

Technician Day

Technician Day, scheduled for Wednesday, 26 September, offers information that will help attendees sharpen their instrumentation and automation skills and acquire an understanding of the proficiency and performance of today’s instrumentation tools and devices. The Technician Day Program includes:

  • General Session: An Open Discussion About the Future of Automation with industry experts: Michael Caliel, CEO and President, Invensys Operations Management; Wolfgang Morr, General Manager, NAMUR; Chet Mroz, President and CEO, Yokogawa Corporation of America; Robert Novotny, Managing Consultant, Price Waterhouse Cooper; and Cliff Pedersen, CIO, North West Upgrading, Inc.
  • Calibration and Instrument Workshop taught by industry  expert, Jim Shields, Product Marketing Manager at Fluke Corporation
  • Basic and Advanced PLCs Workshop; and the Technician Day Mini-Boot Camp, both taught by ISA Certified Instructors

In addition to the full Technician Day program, registration also includes access to the following activities taking place at ISA Automation Week:

  • Keynote Address by Greg B. Hale, Chief Safety Officer and Vice President, Worldwide Standards and Auditing, Walt Disney Resorts & Parks
